Pastors Steven and Erika Da Silva serve as the Lead Pastors of Cayman International Assembly of God (CIAG). Originally from South Florida, the Da Silva’s followed God’s leading to the islands in 2019 and were commissioned as missionaries to Cayman from their sending home church in Fort Lauderdale.

Steven was born in Miami to missionary pastors, and his family is of Brazilian descent. He grew up in the church and has served in ministries such as music, worship, youth, young adults, media, and communications. He has a background in the arts and a passion for creativity, organization, ministry development, and strategy. Pastor Steve has worked in marketing and communications for a variety of organizations in addition to serving the local church. He was the Communications and Public Relations Director at Christian Life Center in Fort Lauderdale before moving to Cayman. He pursued ministerial studies from The Academy at Southeastern University, and his professional education is in Social Psychology and Management.

Erika has also had extensive ministry experience and has facilitated academic advancement for those seeking to advance in their ministries. Erika’s family is Colombian, and she was born and raised in South Florida as well. She was the Director of Southeastern University’s Fort Lauderdale Extension Site, where she oversaw the ministerial development of over 60 students. While completing college-level coursework, she taught these university students how to walk into practical ministry opportunities. Pastor Erika studied theology for two years in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and worked in student missions alongside Latin American missionaries in Chile. She received her Masters Degree in Ministerial Leadership in 2015 and her Bachelors Degree in Ministerial Leadership in 2014.

The Da Silvas most recently served as Associate Pastors of the First Assembly of God in the Cayman Islands, alongside the Superintendent of the Cayman Islands Assemblies of God, Pastor Torrance Bobb. The Da Silvas became the Lead Pastors of CIAG in March 2021, and their prayer is to serve in whatever capacity the Lord desires in order to make a significant spiritual impact in the lives of those around them!
