MONDAY-SATURDAY
Dwell in the Word
Read the short daily devotional. Let Scripture lead you into honest prayer and one clear response.

Deeper in His Presence. Greater in Our Assignment.
August 24–29, 2026
God is inviting us to slow down, draw near, and listen again. As a CIAG family, we are setting aside six days to seek Him together—not simply for what we need Him to do, but because we want to know Him more deeply and serve from His presence.
Whether fasting is familiar to you or this is your first time, choose a meaningful and wise way to participate. Each day, use the devotional, make space for prayer, and ask God what He wants to deepen in you and express through you.
Fasting is a voluntary spiritual practice that helps us make room to seek God with greater attention.
Fasting is an intentional choice to set aside food, activities, media, or another regular comfort so we can give greater attention to prayer, Scripture, and God’s presence. It is not a competition or a way to earn God’s favor. The goal is to seek Him with humility and respond faithfully to what He shows us.
Choose something meaningful and wise. You may fast a meal, particular foods, media, entertainment, or another regular comfort. Pair the time you set aside with prayer and Scripture. Begin with a clear spiritual focus, avoid comparison, and let hunger or distraction become a reminder to turn your attention toward God.
If you are pregnant, nursing, under medical care, taking medication, have a history of disordered eating, or have another health concern, seek qualified medical guidance and choose a non-food fast if appropriate. Children and teens should participate only with guidance from a parent or guardian.
