Three days to step away from the everyday, seek God, and grow in your relationship with Jesus. Join us for the Encounter God Experience, held in the spring and fall each year.

Encounter God Experience is a time to pull away from your usual routine and dedicate your attention to the Lord. Through worship, teaching, and prayer, take time to seek Him and grow in your walk with Jesus. Whether you’re a new believer or have walked with Jesus for years, we believe God will deeply impact your life as you seek Him. Come with an open heart.
For adults who attend CIAG or another Assemblies of God church. New and seasoned believers are welcome.
Person with you: Your Encounter prayer team will pray with you and walk with you through the experience.

Your Weekend At A Glance
You’ll return home each night and come back ready for the next day.
Thursday Evening
Be there from the beginning. Thursday is part of the full experience.
Meal provided: Dinner.
Friday · All Day
Keep the whole day free. You’ll need to arrange time off work.
Meals provided: Breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Saturday
From the morning through late afternoon. Stay for every session through the close.
Meals provided: Breakfast and lunch.
Finding Time Away From Work
If getting time off is difficult, begin praying intentionally that the Lord would open the door, and speak with your employer early. If you can’t attend every session, please plan for a future Encounter God Experience when you can be present for the whole weekend.

The cost is CI $125. We don’t want cost to keep you from attending this meaningful weekend.
Scholarships are available by request and considered on a case-by-case basis. If you need help with the cost, please speak with our team before registering.
Before You Come
A Few Practical Details.
Are Meals Provided? What About Dietary Needs?
Yes. Dinner is provided on Thursday; breakfast, lunch, and dinner on Friday; and breakfast and lunch on Saturday.
We’ll ask about any food allergies or dietary restrictions on the signup form. Please include them when you register so our team can plan ahead.
Do We Stay Overnight? Are Rides Provided?
No. You’ll go home each night and return the next day. Please arrange your own transportation; CIAG does not provide rides for Encounter God Experience.
What Should I Bring?
Bring your Bible, a journal, and a pen. Wear comfortable, casual clothing, and bring a sweater or light jacket.
Can I Bring My Children?
Encounter God Experience is an adults-only experience for those 18 and older. Please arrange care for your children, including nursing babies, so you can attend the full weekend. If this is difficult to arrange, talk with our team before registering.
Who Is This Experience For?
CIAG welcomes everyone. Encounter God Experience is for adults 18 and older who attend CIAG or another Assemblies of God church. You can be a new believer or have followed Jesus for many years.

Encounter God Experience is required before beginning School Of Discipleship. From there, continue through four levels: Spiritual Formation, Character Formation, Ministry Formation, and Leadership Formation.
